Who we are

Bowse Inc. (“Bowse”, “we”) operates the website at bowse.dev and the Bowse CI runner and agent machine services. You can reach us at support@bowse.dev.

What the website collects

  • Contact form. The contact form drafts an email in your own email app; nothing is sent to us until you send that email.
  • No cookies, analytics, or third-party trackers. Fonts and scripts are served from bowse.dev itself.
  • Server logs. Whoever hosts this site may record standard request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, time) for security and operations.
  • Email you send us. If you write to support@bowse.dev, we keep that correspondence to reply and to follow up on your request.

What the service collects

When you use a Bowse workspace, we process:

  • Account details such as name, email address, and workspace membership.
  • Billing details, handled by a payment processor; we don’t store full card numbers.
  • Metadata from connected services, such as GitHub repository names and workflow job status needed to start runners.
  • Usage records: machine sizes, start and stop times, and runtime used for billing and capacity planning.

Code and data inside your CI jobs and machines belong to you. We don’t inspect workload contents except where needed to operate the service, investigate abuse, or comply with law.

How we use information

To respond to you, operate and secure the website and service, bill for usage, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Sharing

We share information with service providers who process it on our behalf (see Subprocessors), when required by law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice to you.

Retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above. CI machines and their disks are deleted when each job ends; agent machine disks are kept until you delete the machine.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, the law may let you see the personal information we hold about you, fix it, export it, have it erased, or object to how it is used. Email support@bowse.dev and we’ll respond within the time required by applicable law.

International transfers

If information is processed outside the country where you live, we’ll use appropriate safeguards required by applicable law.

Children

Bowse is a developer tool and is not directed to children under 16.

Changes

We’ll update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. We’ll notify workspace admins by email before material changes take effect.
